Weekend, Here I Come!

Started off pretty damn good, so far.

I'm stuffed full of pizza that we ate at the in-laws. Caught a bit of the Toledo vs. KU game. Yes, I'm turning into a MAC football junkie.

Leaving super early Saturday morning for Chi-town. Steener is helping Val with her booth at the Renegade Craft Fair. I'll have brunch with the amazing Craig Gunderson, and then I head back to Barb City with a stop at the folk's in the H.E. Then, it's a little apartment maintenance and maybe head out to Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium to cheer my Huskies on against Buffalo. If not, then I play me some guitar and eat leftover pizza. A drink at the waterin' hole might be in order late evening.

Sunday brings a lazy day, and then collect the Steener in Elburn.

Weekend continues with day off on Monday to see the eye lady.

O.K., it ain't rip-roaring, high speed action, but it sounds like a good plan to me.

If you got the notion, go to the Renegade Craft Fair. Booth #99 is Makeout Goods.

Eruption!

Here's my favorite You Tube effort. A search for "Eruption" will take you into a million suburban homes where a kid is rocking out. Perhaps Big Soda will give it a whirl on the ol' You Tube for us?

Violin Eruption

New Post for New Post's Sake

OK, maybe not just for that reason.

I haven't been blogging or epissying much because I've been a little lazy on that front and have been doing little busy chores that I can't remember and working on MySpace page for Big Drag and thinking in run-on sentences. I've also been a little anti-social. Sorry.

I was down for the defeat of my Huskies to OU on Saturday, then up for the Bears win against the Cheezwizheads. I think I'm in a very football mood as we move into the fall. If anything, it will give me an excuse to eat crappy food and drink beer.

I should try to learn more about football and try to keep track of the NFL this season. I've always admired people who follow sports - I think it's a sign of intelligence. I mean, the people who can watch, keep track of stats, analyze it all and who can appreciate the personalities and the game are usually pretty interesting people, and they always have something to talk about. We'll see how that goes for me! What do I know, I schluff hearing aids and go "bloom, bloom, bloom" on the bass.

I hope all of the bloggers are well and that everyone stays warm and happy this fall/winter.

Eye, Eye, Eye!

I'm going off the rails of this crazy eye train!

I tried to get a picture of the "loaner bin" of eyes at the ocularist, but she only brought a few out. The one on the right is mine. I believe the one on the far left is the one that I now have in my noggin.

I go back on the 25th. I'll try to get some good pics then.
